Wendy is a pediatric nurse practitioner who has been with Community Children’s Primary CAre since 2007. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa, and her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from the University of Utah. Her work experience has included inpatient pediatric cancer, diabetic and renal care at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Outpatient experience includes pediatric cancer management at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (formerly Columbus Children’s Hospital) in Columbus, Ohio, followed by six years of primary care pediatrics at a pediatric clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner she appreciates the opportunity to work with families and children of all different ages and backgrounds. She thoroughly enjoys caring for children and enjoys developing close relationships with the families and children.

Wendy has 3 boys who are no longer living at home. She she spends her free time biking, skiing, camping, hiking and enjoying the empty nest with her husband.
