Pediatric Primary Care – Missoula Valley Pediatrics

Missoula Valley Pediatrics offers primary pediatric care for children from birth through adolescence – everything from routine checkups to vaccinations to treatment for specific illnesses. Our highly experienced pediatricians, mid-level providers and pediatric residents partner with parents to help support healthy growth and development. A social worker and parent partner are also available to help families cope with their child’s illness and other parenting issues. And when there’s a serious illness or injury, our pediatricians team up with specialists and subspecialists both in Missoula and at Seattle Children’s to ensure all children get the advanced care they need.

Our primary services include:

  • Wellness checkups and preventive care
  • Same-day visits for illnesses and other concerns
  • Services and support for children with special healthcare needs
  • Lactation Consultant
  • Immunizations
  • Mental health and social support
  • 24-hour access to health advice

Reach Out and Read
Our pediatricians participate in Reach Out and Read, a national literacy awareness program that incorporates books into primary care and promotes the importance of reading aloud with children. They give children a new book at each of 10 routine checkups from infancy until they start school. Families who receive books and education from Reach Out and Read were 2.5 times more likely to enjoy reading together, and children’s language development was improved by 3 to 6 months.
