Genetic Testing and Counseling

Genetic testing and counseling services are available to address a wide range of issues that can affect conception, pregnancy and delivery. Prior to pregnancy, individuals or couples can meet with a certified genetic counselor to discuss and test for reproductive risks based on a variety of risk factors. After conception, a certified genetic counselor is available to discuss screening and diagnostic options, abnormal ultrasound findings, family history of genetic disorders or conditions, and other risk factors. After the delivery of the baby, the genetic counselor can aid in follow-up for known genetic conditions and help with resources and supportive therapies. And continuing, our certified genetic counselor can help field questions in pediatric, neurodevelopmental, neuromuscular, connective tissue, craniofacial, hearing loss, cancer genetics, adult genetics and genetic testing.
