Labor and Delivery

Our state-of-the art, warm and inviting Labor & Delivery Unit is designed around the concept that birthing families do better in a setting that feels more like a home than a hospital. We work with mothers to provide a birthing experience that is right for them, while backing it up with our advanced system of emergency care in the rare event that a labor and delivery doesn’t proceed as planned.

All mothers can expect:

• Nonmedicated or medicated labor including nitrous oxide
• Having a support person, doula, family members or friends present at the delivery
• Skin-to-skin bonding time immediately after delivery
• Breastfeeding support
• Donation of cord blood

Tours
