Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists and their team provide comprehensive obstetric care and management for high-risk pregnancies and at-risk deliveries, including diagnostic ultrasound, antenatal testing and fetal therapies. For expectant mothers at risk, it’s reassuring to know there are experienced maternal fetal experts right here in Missoula – as well as in outreach clinic locations throughout Western Montana. When treating pregnant women with chronic health problems, the goal of our specialists is to keep the patient as healthy as possible while her body changes and her baby develops.

Our maternal fetal medicine team also cares for women who face unexpected problems that develop during pregnancy, such as early labor, bleeding or high blood pressure. Should a pregnant woman arrive at the hospital for any reason – because of an accident, the onset of a kidney infection or another condition that develops suddenly – the team is ready to help. Our providers work in close collaboration with the patient’s primary OB/GYN and/or primary care physician to ensure the best possible coordinated care.
