Rheumatology

A pediatric rheumatologist and specially trained nurse treat children with inflammatory symptoms and conditions such as joint pain, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (formerly JRA), connective tissue disorders and immunologic disease such as lupus or juvenile dermatomyositis. Patients receive carefully coordinated, ongoing treatment in the form of infusions and joint injections. Pediatric rheumatology is provided through a partnership with Seattle Children’s and Community Children’s.
