Born and raised in Missoula, Carlyn Doyle has traveled and lived across the country in pursuit of her education but always knew she would find her way back home.

After completing an undergraduate degree at the University of Montana, she went on to earn her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Carlyn started her nursing career at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester working in Adolescent Med/ Surg/ Oncology.  From there it was off to North Carolina, where she worked as a Pediatric Surgery / Trauma Nurse at UNC Children’s Hospital.  While working as a Clinical Nurse she obtained her Masters of Nursing: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.  With a desire to make her way back out west and closer to home, Carlyn moved to Great Falls and worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at a Primary Care Pediatric Clinic before joining Community Community Children’s in the spring of 2016.

Some of her special clinical interests include gastroenterology, bowel management and pediatric burn care.

She is thrilled to be back in Missoula doing what she loves.  In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, occasional piano playing and walking her crazy Dachshund, P-Nut and spending time with her family.
