Maria earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Saint Louis University in 2018. Prior to joining Community Children’s Pediatric Therapies she cared for patients across the lifespan in her hometown of Quincy, IL. She split her time between pediatric patients, aquatic patients, and upper extremity/hand patients in the outpatient setting. Maria loves to work with patients, provide education, use creativity, and for that beautiful “ah-ha!” moment when functional outcomes arrive. Serving the pediatric population is her calling in life. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her cats (Frank and Honey), comedy, woodworking, hiking, and maintaining her duties as the “Fun Aunt” to her 5 nieces and nephews.
