Gardner, M.D. is a board-certified otolaryngologist. Dr. Gardner completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Indiana University in 1996. The following year, he enjoyed a position as Otolaryngology Tutor Specialist at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Dr. Gardner completed medical school at Indiana University in 1991 and undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt in 1986. Dr. Gardner loves everything about Western Montana, both the people and the magnificent landscape. His numerous volunteer projects include helping to organize RATPOD, a benefit bicycle ride around the Pioneer Mountains for Camp Mak-A-Dream, and building the Rattlesnake Pedestrian Bridge with Friends of Missoula Parks. Phil has participated in two trips to Honduras with Missoula Medical and served for four years on the board of Youth Homes Inc. Phil and his wife, Julie, are the proud parents of three girls.
